About SUUQ ONLINE (U) LTD

SUUQ ONLINE (U) LTD is a fully registered private company in the Republic of Uganda, dedicated to building a simple, honest and halal-friendly online classifieds marketplace. We are officially incorporated under the Companies Act 2012 with registration number G250212-3037.

Our Mission

To be Uganda’s most genuine, transparent and affordable classifieds platform – helping people easily buy, sell and discover everyday items, vehicles, property, services and halal lifestyle products, while empowering serious vendors with professional “mini-shop” pages and tools.

What We Do

• Classifieds marketplace
  SUUQ connects buyers and sellers. People post ads, chat safely inside SUUQ, and then agree on price, meeting and delivery directly with each other.
• Public shop pages for vendors
  Serious sellers and businesses can create a branded shop profile with a handle, logo, QR code and story – turning their classifieds into a small online shop that customers can follow.
• Smart discovery & promotions
  Product rails, categories, search, saved views and video reels help buyers discover relevant items, while vendors can boost their visibility using SUUQ ads (now or in future phases).
• Digital empowerment for local traders
  From the smallest home-seller to established shops, SUUQ provides a platform where people can reach more buyers without needing their own complex website or delivery fleet.

How SUUQ Classifieds Works

SUUQ is not a traditional online supermarket or courier service. We do not run our own delivery riders and we do not take ownership of most items listed on the platform. Instead, we:

• Provide the website, apps and tools for posting and managing ads;
• Offer messaging so buyers and sellers can communicate safely;
• Promote transparency with clear profiles, ratings and verified shops;
• Set rules on what can be listed (only halal and legal items).

Payment, delivery or pickup are usually arranged directly between the buyer and the seller. For any future SUUQ-managed services (for example escrow, promotions or logistics), terms will be clearly explained inside the product.

Ownership

SUUQ ONLINE (U) LTD is majority-owned by JJINGO ISMAEL, who holds 90% of the shares. The remaining shares are held by LUBWAMA MARIAM and ABDURRASHEED ABDULLAH OLA, each owning 5% respectively.
